The O-Key credentials are used throughout the IT systems and many others to provide secure single sign-on access to IT services such as my.okstate.edu, the Software Distribution Center, Virtual Labs, the wireless network, Canvas, and many others.

O-Key at OSU Your O-Key account is your passport to campus and connection to OSU. You have to set it up before you can access your OSU email account, accept your scholarships and financial aid, sign up for housing, enroll in classes and more, so it's important to do this as soon as possible.

HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY O-KEY ACCOUNT? Visit my.okstate.edu. Click on Activate Your O-Key Account link under the login button. Upon completion of the activation wizard, it may take 24 hours or more before your new account is ready to use.

OSU issues an eight-digit ID number commonly called a CWID (Campus Wide ID). It is assigned when your name is added to any OSU database. It does not change if you leave OSU or become an employee. If you return to OSU for a 2nd degree or resume your education after any break in enrollment, you retain your original CWID.
